What You Need to Know
- Delivery
How can I get a Waitrose delivery slot?
You can book a Waitrose delivery slot by clicking the option online and heading to the home delivery section. After popping in your chosen delivery address, available delivery slot choices will show up as well as the cost. The grey tick on them will change to green so you know you’ve successfully booked. You do need to complete the checkout process, otherwise you’ll lose this slot though. It’s worth considering doing click and collect if you can’t find the slot you want. Just choose a time to pick up your shopping and go get it from your nearest store. Plus, store delivery is free on orders over £40.

Can I make a change to my order after checkout?
Yes! You have until 6pm on the day before delivery to make changes to your Waitrose order. Alternatively, if you need to change the time slot for delivery, you’ve got until 5pm the day before. The only thing to note is that items classed as Entertaining products can’t be changed after checkout.
What if I’m not happy with a product substitution?
Product substitutions are made when Waitrose have run out of the item you ordered. At this point, you’ll only be charged the price of the substitution, not the original product. But if you’re not happy with a substitution, you can refuse to accept it from the delivery driver or return the item instore for a full refund.
