If you are still struggling or need more help, you can talk to an expert DHL advisor at 02476937770 from 7 am – 8 pm Monday to Friday or 8 am – 6 pm. What if I am not home to receive my delivery?
In the event that your parcel has been sent on a service that requires a signature at the specified delivery address and there is no-one at home, the driver will leave a calling card. Where the sender of your parcel has provided your mobile number or email address, DHL will send you a notification confirming this.
Are there items I can’t send?
Yes, there are a range of items you cannot send with DHL such as live animals, antiques, artwork, bullion, cheques, cigarettes, drugs, firearms, important documents, medicines, paint, precious metals or stones, unprotected furniture and weapons. There are also a range of fragile items that are not suitable for shipments and DHL accept no liability to any damages.
Buyers Guides

Why we love: DHL
Whether it’s shipping my eBay and Vinted sales or sending gifts to my long-distance girlies, I regularly send parcels. I recently started using DHL to send packages and to be honest there are a number of reasons I made the switch!
Firstly, DHL includes free compensation cover up to £50 across all UK and Ireland deliveries, so this gives me peace of mind when posting. There’s an option to increase the cover too, if the contents are worth more.
What’s more, DHL offers a range of shipping options so I can always find something that suits my needs and budget. My top tip would be to create a DHL account as this is the best way to hear about the latest news and promotions and manage all your parcels, plus, you can save 10% off your first order.
Here at VoucherCodes, we’ve worked with DHL since 2014, so our partnership is well established. This means we can always bring our users the best working DHL promo codes. Our data shows the average user spends £48 and makes a median saving of £7 each time.

How to Save at DHL
1. Create a free account:
Our first tip is to create a free DHL account as this is the best way to stay up to date with the latest deals and special offers. Simply enter your name and email address to join, and you’ll even save 10% off your first order.
2. Download DealFinder:
We regularly offer fantastic DHL discount codes and it’s even easier to save money on shipping when you download our DealFinder browser extension – it's free, so there’s nothing to lose! DealFinder will automatically compare our codes to ensure you pay the best price every time.
3. Free cover:
DHL offers free £50 cover as standard across all UK and Ireland deliveries. This can also be upgraded for a small cost (if the actual value of the item you are shipping is more than £50).
